What is the Elmwood Village ArtFest?

The Elmwood Village ArtFest is back for its second annual summer festival along Elmwood Avenue that will feature artists, live music, performances, food trucks, a KidsZone, and more along Elmwood Avenue.

Will Elmwood Avenue be closed to cars during the festival?

No, Elmwood Avenue will remain open during the festival. Artists will be set up in front of stores and businesses and in “pocket popups” throughout Elmwood.

What happened to the previous festival that took place on Elmwood Avenue? (PRE-2023)

We are not affiliated in any way, shape, or form with the previous festival nor its organizers and have never had anything to do with any previous art festival that took place on Elmwood Avenue in the month of August. This is a brand-new art festival, featuring artists, live music, performances, food trucks, a KidsZone, and more.

Will the businesses be open during the Elmwood Village ArtFest?

Yes, the businesses on Elmwood Avenue will be open and many will be having sales and specials.

Who is putting on the Elmwood Village ArtFest?

This annual festival is put on by the Elmwood Village Association (EVA), composed of volunteers from area businesses and local residents. The mission of the EVA is to encourage a balance of growth and preservation, to support community-led projects and to promote an inclusive neighborhood for people to live, work, visit and prosper. Founded in 1994, the EVA is best known for its community programs, including the Elmwood Village Farmers Market, the Bidwell Summer Concert Series, Porchfest and neighborhood beautification projects, all which remain free to the community through residential/business memberships, sponsorships and grants.

Will there be port-a-johns at the Elmwood Village ArtFest?

Yes, there will be porta-a-johns at West Ferry Street, Auburn Ave, and at Bidwell Parkway.
