BUFFALO, N.Y. - Chair Massage Pit Stop will hold its Grand Opening on Friday, November 25, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chair Massage Pit Stop, which offers 5- to 30-minute massages by a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), is located at 810 Elmwood Avenue in the D’Avolio building in the Elmwood Village.
The Grand Opening is being held in conjunction with the Elmwood Village Black Friday Boutique Crawl.
“Stopping in for a chair massage is a great way for shoppers, business people, and individuals to get quick, easy relief for their tired muscles,” notes Jason Jones, LMT.
Jones opened Chair Massage Pit Stop, he says, as a way to help people who don’t have the time or the need for a long massage. Chair massages can provide regular body maintenance, leading to stress reduction and relief from muscle strain caused by long periods of sitting, standing, or repetitive motion.
Chair massage differs from the full body massages traditionally offered at spas and other venues, Jones says. At Chair Massage Pit Stop, the individual sits in a quiet room in an ergonomically designed chair that supports the body in a relaxed position. The LMT focuses the massage on tension areas of the person’s neck, back, shoulder, arms and hands. Chair massages are given fully clothed, without the use of oils or lotions.
Chair Massage Pit Stop’s regular business hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call (716) 578-9470 or visit www.chairmassagepitstop.net.
